Avaya CMS R17 in the virtualized environment

1-deploy CMS to your esxi host.
2-Start the virtual machine.
3-leave password blank in the first start and login
4. right click to desktop and click console
5- you login as a root user. type passwd root and change your root password
6- then type /cms/toolsbin/netconfig
7-enter the details of your server( IP,netmask,hostname etc.)
Warning : Do not run netconfig many time if you do it your cms supervisor client will not work.



 8-type
. /opt/informix/bin/setenv
then
/opt/informix/bin/dbinit.sh
and your CMS is ready to make connection to CM if you make proper things in the CM site
